Weird Question, is the sand hot?!

We will be getting married in Nassau, Bahamas on the beach and I was wondering from past brides/grooms if the sand was too hot to stand on without shoes.... It seems silly but I want to plan accordingly if I need to purchase shoes for everyone or if going barefoot for 20 min or so is worth it. Thanks!:p
