Hotel in Miami near Car Rental

Does anyone know of a good hotel (preferably in the Miami Beach/South Beach area) that is within walking distance of a rental car company that is open on Sundays? We are flying into Miami two days pre-cruise in December and want to rent a car for a day trip the day before embarkation, which is a Sunday. Any advice on hotels and car rental agencies would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

There are car rental agencies scattered around SB - thrifty, budget, sixt, etc. In downtown Miami I know of a Hertz, Avis and budget locations.

 

Probably easier to find a hotel that meets your needs and then just cab to the car rental office. You'll need to check with each office for hours.

The Hertz downtown location has a shuttle to the port. It's located in the parking garage across the street from the Courtyard Downtown/Brickell, can walk right over. The Sunday hours for that location are 7:00-4:00
