Wedding onboard Easter Sunday?

Asking for my brother...trying to pick a date and Easter break seems to be perfect. However, i'm not sure if Carnival does weddings on Easter Sunday (embarkation day)...anyone have any info on this? mr google has not been able to help me :eek:

The only problem they could have is finding an officiant. Carnival doesn't have them on staff. But I'm sure they have a list.

At worst a friend could get the officiants license.

I answered this for the OP on the Honeymoon Boards. Carnival contracts with third party wedding companies (Wedding For You, The Wedding Experience, etc) and part of their contract is that they're available on holidays. Worst case--the happy couple will have to pay an extra-fee because it's a holiday.

I would say yes, possible. My daughter is getting married on Palm Sunday, tomorrow!
