EAISE Posted April 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2014 I just returned from a 7 day cruise in an aft suite in the Getaway. The sofa / guest bed was so hard, it was impossible to sit or sleep on it. We had the concierge bring us some foam padding just to make it possible to use it. If anyone has any knowledge about the Epic's sofa / guest bed, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks, Ken
Goo Brew Posted April 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Yes, I too would like to hear this as my son will be attempting to sleep on that bed at the end of June! :-) Sent from my iPad using Forums
soaringfalcon Posted April 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 18, 2014 I think it's an individual thing. My daughter had no issues and slept like a baby. I laid down on it and thought it was fine. Everyone has their own individual tastes though.
sdmike Posted April 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 18, 2014 it's firm, but my teen son was fine without a pad. Again, personal tastes. Get some foam padding if it's too firm for you

Everyone has their own individual tastes though. I don't know about the Epic but that sofa bed on the Getaway was like sitting on a book.. no give at all. From what you guys are saying, it sounds like the Epic has something much more reasonable. Thanks for the feedback.
