Elation deck plan

We are sailing out of NOLA on the Elation and have room U61 has anyone ever had this location or close to? I was wondering how this location is?(Noise, access, etc..) We have always stayed on the Main floor in the center of the ship, PVP recommended this floor and room, he has never steered me wrong. Looking so forward to this vacation!! Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

My family stay at mid ship and it was really quiet. We were also on the main level you will not have any problems. Enjoy your cruise.

Looks like the only thing above you is other staterooms, so no problems with noise from above. You're not right beside an elevator, which I always will avoid (had one right next to elevator a few cruises back...the light coming under the door was bothersome! ). We also once had a cabin at the very aft...right next to a steward supply closet. >.< I'll learn someday. Enjoy the Elation, she's beautiful. :)

We stayed on the upper deck and it was really quiet ... we were a bit more forward though.
