HAL Shuttle to City from Outlying Port

Hi -- It was suggested to me that I consider the shuttle run by HAL to the city from an outlying port. I have been on a lot of HAL cruises but I have never seen this. Is this something new? My sister who travels on Princess says that they have it all the time but I don't ever recall seeing it on HAL. Comments?

I think it depends on the port. I have used HAL shuttles in some Baltic and Mediterranean ports.

We've traveled on Princess on a several occasions (see below) and found that any available shuttles have cost a couple to a few $$ to ride and not been complimentary. Not to say it doesn't happen, but it's not a certainty.

 

I agree, it often depends on the location and ship. It does seem to happen less and less often.
