bills blasters Posted April 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2014 There are 2 LaQuinta's in Cocoa Beach. We stayed at the Oceanside one. Great Location. Right on the beach. It is an older hotel, but was clean and the staff was very nice. Claudia
lovestocruisesue Posted April 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We are staying at the Oceanfront La Quinta in Cocoa Beach for our precruise in June. Can't wait. Have heard a lot of good reviews.
wrigley80 Posted April 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2014 If it's the one further down on Atlantic Avenue then run away as fast as you can from this hotel. I will NEVER set foot in another LaQuinta after visiting this hotel. I had a pre-paid reservation and we left without staying because the staff was so rude

bills blasters Posted April 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Yes, that is good. Ask for a room with a balcony view of the ocean. We spent lots of time sitting out on the balcony. So close to the ocean and to the pier. Claudia
LynnAnne Posted April 27, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Thinking of booking this for our Feb. cruise. Question, is it a long walk to the surf shop? We won't have a car as we well shuttle forum the airport. Need info on cheap shuttle as we don't want to rent a car. I see it listed for 129.00 a night at that time. Is this a deal or should I wait? Thanks
bills blasters Posted April 28, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I would book the hotel now at that price, and then just keep checking. It may go down. We booked our room about 8 months in advance. When we booked it was over $200 a night. Closer to we got to price drops. Ended up right at $100 a night. Just call and have them change to the new price. It is not real close to Ron Jons. Don't know for sure, but driving seemed like it was at least a mile, but I could be wrong. The taxi's seemed to be pretty cheap in town, so maybe you could take a taxi there. Claudia
nonnie&dgd Posted April 28, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Is this an oceanfront or oceanview room? Edited April 28, 2014 by nonnie&dgd
bills blasters Posted April 29, 2014 #11 Share Posted April 29, 2014 It must have been an ocean front room. It had a balcony facing the ocean. Claudia
