Wingnut06 Posted July 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2005 This will be our first time in St. Thomas (Oct - Princess Caribbean). The cruise line does not offer a shore excursion for either of these activities. Can anyone recommend a location that offers both, Parasailing and Jet Ski's that is close to the port and can be reserved in advance? Thanks for your help! The Islander Posted August 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2005 Hello, Sapphire Beach Resort has both. Also Morningstar Beach Resort, which is closer to Havensight where most ships dock. The same folks that offer the parasailing at Sapphire Beach also offer pick ups at Morningstar. That company is http://viwatersports.com/parasail.htm so you can contact them for details. --Islander http://www.*****
cruisin2005 Posted August 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Islander: Do you know if there are any age restrictions for the jet skis? My son is 17 and wants to "drive" a jet ski by himself. He and his father want to rent them but only if they can have their own. Also if you would know the approximate price we are going to Sapphire Beach. Thanks
The Islander Posted August 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2005 Hello, From Sapphire's Web Site: "$50 for half an hour: $90 for one hour. Depart from Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. Fast, fun and exciting! You must be 18 years of age or older to drive a jet ski." A taxi from Havensight to Sapphire - around $9 a person, one way. --Islander http://www.*****
