TXJG Posted April 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2014 When you look at the deck plans posted on the RCI website, is the top of the page the front of the ship or the back of the ship? LOL :p Thanks for answering a newbie question.

mjldvlks Posted April 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) No such thing as a stupid question :D Really. It seems like the deck plans used to have the gross outline of the ship surrounding the deck plan so it was pretty easy to tell the pointy end. They don't seem to do that anymore. tampatramp Posted April 29, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 29, 2014 TXJG: yes there are stupid questions, yours isn't one of them. Maybe there there are stupid answers. Once on a Miami to LA cruise, on a deck down below, a lost/confused woman trying to go to the front of the ship, made the mistake of asking ME which way the ship was going. I pointed to the ceiling (as we were in the Panama Canal).
OCruisers Posted April 29, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Ask your TA to send you a printed deck plan ... so much easier to read. ;) LuLu
grab007 Posted April 29, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 29, 2014 My Dad used to say "The only stupid questions are the ones that go un-asked." Bow = Front (also "forward") Stern = Back (also "aft") Port = Left Starboard = Right
