How long does take to take a pre wedding tour? What do we do? I will bring my little one and I am a little concern...it will be right around lunch time. Thanks on advance for the help!

You typically board with the bridal party (if there is one) and you're welcome to stay until the all-call for visiting guests. We were on the ship from 12 until the final guest call and got to have lunch. You can have a total group of 4 and everyone has to be over 18 per the Carnival Weddings dept. You can request a specific date and they'll let you know if it's available. If it is, you just give them driver's license numbers for security reason (just like the embarkation weddings). It was a lovely day for us and gave us a lot of clarity on the day-of timeline.

Carnival Bride!

Thank you for your response....I was just reading about something you post it before, how funny!

I heard from someone that we could have lunch there, so I called Carnival to ask ( because of my little one), they said no....there is no lunch. We are only going there to see the rooms and will be escorted the entire time....I don't really know what to hope for it.

And I just want to say that all your posts it's been very helpful to us. Thank you!

I was told the same thing- no time for lunch. we look around at the wedding venues & exit the ship.. I am upset that we can't partake in the lunch especially since for our wedding, we're paying for our non sailing guests to eat lunch. So we'd like to know what to expect..

We did our tour on the Pride on May 10th and had all the time we wanted after we saw the venues. We had lunch on lido (Guys Burgers of course). Then walked the ship ourselves for a while and just left when we were ready. Can not wait for our big day.:D

You have to send an email to the Carnival Wedding group to set up the appointment. They will give you dates available to do the tour and will ask for the ID'S and DOB's of the people coming (up to 4 guests.. including the wedding couple). The first visit us free. If you need a 2nd trip, I believe it's a $50 charge.

Our wedding is July 12, 2015. I just did the Dream pre-wedding tour yesterday. I am soooo glad I did. I discovered that it will take a lot longer the morning of the wedding to get to the port than I originally had allotted - the cruise passengers are disembarking and the port of New Orleans is a mess! For the pre-wedding tour we wound up parking offsite (at the Riverwalk). I am now planning on leaving my house at 9am on the wedding day to get there for 10:30 - and I live about 30 minutes away!

I got to see all of the rooms, Chambers 2, Chambers 1, and the lounges, the Song lounge (the one I want), Sam's piano bar, the Caliente night club, etc.

We were given the tour by the Groups coordinator, Richard (very nice). All of the wedding coordinators were busy that day. there were 2 weddings, but one was a 200 person wedding. We toured the rooms with him, and then had the run of the ship, including lunch.

Print out everything they send you before hand. We added my daughter after we made the original plan, and she was not on the port's list, so it was very lucky that I had a copy of the list with her i.d. number on it.

We booked the tour about a month in advance. I strongly recommend this tour!!!
