Safe to walk from the skytrain tonight at 9pm?

We are thinking about taking the skytrain tonight when we get in....going to the Pan Pacific. Is it safe to walk at night(2 women)? Or should we just get a cab? Quick walking directions from the station?

If you take the canada line to the waterfront station and exit ,either exit will get you within a half a block or less. Very safe a that time to walk around vancouver. it!s beautiful today! Enjoy

Yes, it is quite safe. Also, it will still be dusk at 9 pm, so not pitch dark.

 

It's a short walk: When you get off at Waterfront Station, follow the sign that says "way out - Granville Street" rather than down the long hallway. When you're at street level, turn left on W Hastings and go one block to Howe St. Turn right and you'll see Canada Place/Pan Pacific (white sails on top) virtually in front of you. You can't miss it.
