Just off explorer in a GS ask your questions

Recommended Posts

Good to know. We have arrived in the CL to standing room only.

I sure hope you were advised that the 19th Hole was the overflow for suite guests. I've noticed if you go into the Concierge just a little past 6pm, it does empty out as those guests have the 6pm seating for dinner.

For D+, besides the Concierge lounge, the overflow for them is Cloud Nine.

This was my first GS and second time on RCI and second time to Bermuda. I plan to write a review when I have a chance but anyone have any questions I can answer? Loved the ship and crew. Had an amazing time!

I'm in a GS on the Navigator so I assume they will be similar. Which cabin were you in and did you notice any noise from the Lido deck above?

Looking forward to your review! Please post a link when you start it! We will be sailing EOS on the 5nt to Bermuda in August and my DD will turn 6. Glad to hear your DD loved the Adventure Ocean. Did your DD go into Chamber with you that one night? Are kids allowed in there?

We were given the option CL or 19th each night and each night Dplus got option CL or cloud nine. There was almost no one in all 3 locations each time I went in. There were 2/3 bartenders in 19th and CL each night and apps everywhere.

19yh hole was very nice.

My DD went to chamber on first day during the day so I could look in but it was dark and she was scared. No one was there bc it was in the afternoon. There is a sign at the door that says at 10pm it's adult only. One night they have a family dance party in chamber but we were budy

Hi,

Thanks for your review:)

I do have a question: Can you tell me how you get the tickets for the ice show. It's been awhile since we've been on the Explorer.

At one time they used to let you pick them up in Studio B and on the promenade.

But i heard that might have changed.

Thank you for your help

Liz:)

The Ice Show now goes by your Muster station that is indicated on your seapass. The Compass will indicate the Muster station for each Ice Showing.

Yup ice show is by muster station if you want to see it again or at a different time you wait in a line and they will let you in right before the show if there is space. We saw the show two times my DD loved it!

In Bermuda you can do everything on your own. This was our second time there. We took a ferry to st George and on the ferry they had a lady announce that she does a walking tour of st George 1 1/2 hrs for $40 ppl and $20 for kids so we talked to her and I decided to do it with DD so first I ate lunch then met her in town hall and off we went. Amazing tour super nice lady knew a lot about the town and knew everyone we passed! Then we got the ferry back to dockyard and walked around. Day two we walked to snorkel park beach $5 to get in, it's not the best beach but I wanted to stay close to ship and we have done horseshoe last year which I strongly suggest for a first timer. Then we ride the free trolly and shopped till we dropped;)

Were there any live bands? How late are the various venues open until? Is the casino open in the evening while docked in Bermuda? Do you know if there is a Cigar lounge? Can't wait for your review...

Taking sister ship, Adventure 1 year and 9 months. *sigh!* We booked connecting GS. Did they have any specialty restaurants for suite guests to use for breakfast and lunch?
