Anyone ever Snuba in Kona, or Hawaii in general? Where should I go for the best time>?

My wife and kids did snuba in Kona. I'm scuba certified so I did a dive with them while they were doing the snuba. My daughter who loves the water had a great time. My wife thought it was interesting and my son thought the water was too cold. The water temp was no more than 78f. We did the trip right from the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. We swam out from the beach seen in the bottom of the photo.

I would pick Kona for any underwater activities in Hawaii. Hilo for the Volcano and Maui would be for Mt. Haliacola (phonetic spelling).
