What time to get there?

Recommended Posts

We have a balcony "guarantee" coming up August 21 from Bayonne to Bermuda. Since it's our first cruise we wouldn't have any idea how to choose a specific cabin, anyway. Does anyone know how this "guarantee" really works? What's the best time to arrive at the port (we are getting there by train) in order to get the best cabin?

Thanks in adance.

Even with a guarantee you probably WILL have a cabin assignment before you get to the port. Check back with RCCL or your TA if you used one to find out. :)

A guarantee means that you are guaranteed at LEAST a cabin in the category you booked...it's POSSIBLE that you may be given a higher category cabin, but definitely not certain. Basically it means you can be assigned any cabin in the booked category.

I can't help you on the best time to check in in Bayonne, hopefully someone else with experience in that port can tell you.

Enjoy your cruise! :)
