subtly_silkdove Posted May 12, 2014 #26 Share Posted May 12, 2014 My understanding is that it's 2 dinners, regardless of how you use them. It saves you about 10%. Hi! I'm thinking of buying one of the dining packages(online) before I board the ship. It says you have to book or reserve onboard. Will I have a problem on the restaurants being fully booked and won't be able to use the vouchers? My husband and I are only first time cruisers and only doing a 12day Mediterranean cruise. Any opinions/suggestions from experienced cruisers are appreciated.

There were TONS of people with the explore 4 package on my Panama cruise. I made 2 prebookings at the Pinnacle. About 4 days in I got a call to switch my night to another because they were having a "special" dinner the night I booked. I had no problem getting in another night at 6:30 and I would think that would be an in demand time.
sail7seas Posted May 12, 2014 #28 Share Posted May 12, 2014 I think an 8 P.M. reservation is an 'in demand' time. :) We always asked for a reservation at that time.

We are really looking forward to this cruise, hopefully it will be "smooth sailing" ...no stress for us.:)
cruz chic Posted May 13, 2014 #30 Share Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) I think an 8 P.M. reservation is an 'in demand' time. :) We always asked for a reservation at that time. The dining room was packed from 5:15 to about 7:30 every night. After that you could have shot a cannon in there. I'm talking open dining. This has been the same on all my cruises. The early dining is always full long before the late. If the later time are in so much demand why is the early gone first? I don't think that just because you prefer it makes it that way for everyone. No way I can eat that late. Edited May 13, 2014 by cruz chic
sail7seas Posted May 13, 2014 #31 Share Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Main Seating Traditional Dining on Upper level is always full. (8:00 P.M.) I guess that must be where those who dine late prefer sitting? Edited May 13, 2014 by sail7seas
