Bringing Wine Onboard?

Does anyone know if you can bring your own wine/beer on Costa, like you can on the other cruise lines? We are going on the Mediterranea 2/12/06, anyone else on that ship too?

I don;t think so. when I was on last year, I bought a bottle in Mexico and stuck it in my bag and when it went through security they took it and gave it back to me at the end of the cruise. It happended to my on Carnival and my friends on NCL. Costa has a great wine package that you can purchase for the entire week with really good bottles. They also have a beer card you can purchase.
