Has anyone ever taken the Greyhound Bus to Ft Lauderdale, then taken a cab to Port Everglades?

I priced it, the travel time is about 24 hours from here and it costs about the same as a nonstop flight. No deal.

This would be just a 3 hour bus trip across the state....from Ft Myers to Ft Lauderdale. Air fare is ridiculous and the cruise bus service we normally use is not available for our cruise dates. We'd rather not drive if there is a good alternative.
