Reserve canal boat trips in copenhagen?

I would like to take the canal trip in Copenhagen. Do I need to buy ticket ahead of time, or are there seats available for walk ups? Be there on June 4th.

When we where there 3 years ago, we just walked up the the boats on the Nyhavn Canal and boarded.

They really don't reserve seats. Prepurchase just saves you the time of buying it there. Our tickets are good for the day, no special time.

Just walk up, pay your money and board on the next tour boat. They are always moving, and rarely do they fill up.

 

The hour tour is wonderful and you get a truly different perspective of Copenhagen from the canals.
