I'm looking at going on a cruise this fall with some family. We're looking at some in their 30s and some in the 60-70s, but active and enjoy walking and some ballroom dance. While I'm very familiar with the area, I've not actually gone on the cruises departing from either Galveston or Houston. Do any NCL Jewel or RCI Navigator partisans want to sound off on their favored ships?

You might like RCCI Navigator. They sail two different Itns. It is really nice and roomy, comfortable.

Funny you should say that. This thread wasn't getting any hits, so I decided I'd ask in both the NCL and the RC boards.

 

I didn't bother with asking in the RC boards, because the *NCL* boards suggested the Navigator over their Jewel. Kinda surprised, but there you have it.

Definitely Navigator! I am on her right now and she's a great ship. Cruising out of Galveston has been wonderful.

Yes, we got a tram tour of JSC. Very much enjoyed it. I am working on my review right now.
