We are coming in to Belize on the carnival dream on June 5th and I still can't decide what to do while there. We have 4 adults, 8 year old and 3 year old. We don't really want to snorkel again but some beach time would be ok. Are we better off just walking around the tourist shops or going somewhere else?

Thanks for your help!

We have been to Belize three times. The last time we just took the tender after the mad rush crowd and just hung out at the tourism village and had some food and drinks and tendered back before the last minute rush. I think this was better than the tours we did before. No worries, no timing issues.

Caulkner is a neat place to visit , but not much of a beach there. Most people hang out at the split..

I hear that Caye Caulker is a nice beach. We'll be on the same cruise as you! :)
