Cemetary Beach or Sunset House

We are still trying to plan our august day in Grand Cayman. Our first plan was to take a taxi to hell (yes its cheesy but I have been to grand Cayman a few times and never been to hell), then walk to Cemetary Beach stopping at Subway for some sandwiches to bring, then taking a taxi back to port to shop. Now I am deciding weather to head the other direction and go to Smith Bay and walk to Sunset House to snorkel, eat, drink and use the pool, then head back to the port to shop. We are the only ship in port the day we will be there, so option 3 would be to go to one of the bars along 7 mile beach with all the amenities including snorkeling and stand up paddle.

Questions: 1. Any thoughts on these plans?

2. How far out is the reef at Cemetary and are we in danger of getting run over by boats?

3. Is it advisable to walk to Sunset house from the port or is a cab important?

4. How far out is the reef from Sunset House

5. Any ideas where to get Caymanite jewelery and is it expensive

6. I know I read somewhere that My Bar is famous for some drink but now I can't find it. Does anyone know what it is?

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

it is less than a mile ... we've walked many times ... just be aware of traffic as there are not sidewalks all the way

4. How far out is the reef from Sunset House

it's 'right there'

that's the nice thing about the iron shore areas

I believe they claim to be famous for their mudslide but I've not found it to be something special
