ANYONE WITH INFO ON UVERO BEACH???

Does anyone know how far it is from the pier? Can you take a cab-and if so, do you know the fare? Is there a charge for access? Are there any food/drink places? Restrooms? Chairs for free or rent?

Uvero beach is a 25-30 minute drive from the pier. We took the ships tour bus so I don't know the cab fare or the admission cost if you aren't on a ship tour. With the ship tour there was an open bar (there are two) the food was not free but was reasonably priced. A plate with tacos, beans, and salad was $6. There are plenty of chairs, and the restrooms and showers are large and very clean. There are also paddle boats and kayaks free for use and you can rent snorkle gear.
