Hi,

My family and I are cruising around the Med in August departing Venice 10/08/14. Are there any UK cruisers with kids on this cruise?

Mine are 17 (boy) and 9 (girl). I was hoping they would have some company as so far the roll calls haven't picked up any British families.

There was a good mix of kids last year 27 Aug,

The cruise had the biggest mix of international passengers of any cruise I have been on.

The teens formed mixed nationality pose's and were all over the ship hanging out, many boys and girls got to practice a foreign language, mostly very well behaved, but there were a few tears at the end of the cruise.

The younger kids also mixed really well and over the trip more were given the freedom to "hang out", many had older siblings to keep an eye on things.

The european culture is a lot more family orientated than the UK and tend to do things later so the kids would be up late.
