I haven't been on the Conquest in a couple of years but I can't think of anything I didn't like. From what I can remember; the balcony staterooms are spacious enough for us. The food, while it wasn't 4-star quality, was always hot and fresh. The entertainment is OK but it wasn't so bad that it kept me away every evening.

As soon as I finish my January 2015 cruise on a Royal Caribbean ship (this is when I become Diamond Plus) I will be planning my next cruise on the Conquest.

Here's a few pics:

I was on the Conquest last week. Overall a good ship and crew. The food was good. I've been to all of the ports before, but still found new things to do.

A few observations, these may be good, or bad depending on your point of view.

The music was loud everywhere that played music. There were less DJs and more live singers than I had seen on other cruises recently, but they still had the volume turned up like the DJs.

The waiters only sang 3 times in the MDR. The formal nights and the last night.

The only time I smelled smoking was in the casino. The rest of the ship seemed well ventilated.

We liked Guys burgers but miss the chicken strips and nachos than once were in that location. There is now a burrito and taco bar, but no longer the chips.

Everything else is pretty much like all of the other carnival ships.

I have been on Conquest twice when it was in NOLA, both pre and post 2.0 upgrades. It is a nice ship, but much better after 2.0. Guys burgers were good. DH loved EA sports bar. It was never crowded there. MDR service was the lowest point of both cruises. We were in ATD due to traveling with our DD (who was 15 months and then just over 2 during those 2 cruises), so that may have impacted the service.
