Free Crown Grill/Sabatinis for Elite?

It is a free perk offered to certain Elites on the cruise.

If you are one of the lucky "most travelled" passengers such as the number 1 most travelled passenger on the ship they will give you a free voucher to be used in either Sabatini's or Crown Grill on any night of the cruise.

There is also a lunch for the very top most travelled passengers on the ship. Extra gifts are given to the top 3 most travelled passengers.

My experience -- there is usually a most traveled luncheon or cocktail

party for the top 40 (top 20 couples)

If it is a very short cruise, then letter for free dinner for two

in speciality resturant for top 20 (top 10 couples)

So it is Lunch/cocktail party ***OR*** speciality dining.

I just had the speciality dining on Caribbean, and I thought it was great.

When is Princess going to come out of the dark ages and permit advance speciality restaurant reservations like all the other cruise lines!?

Hate having to be at the pier so early to be one of the first on to secure specialty restaurant reservations. Rather board later once the mob is on.

The specialty restaurants are usually only partially filled. I've even seem them station someone outside the restaurant begging people to come in for dinner. Haven't had a problem signing up for a specialty restaurant on Princess in years, maybe decades. You don't have to rush onboard to sign up. Plus, the Royal and Regal have quite a few optional specialty restaurants. Maybe Princess specialty restaurants aren't as busy because the food is better in the dining rooms than other lines.
