No adult bev. Pkg. On shorter cruises

heads up...I booked a 4 day Bahamas on 5/26 and found out today that I [and anyone else that booked after 5/15 ] will not be allowed to purchase the ultimate bev. pkg. due to being 5 days or less.

I was told that this decision was implemented on 5/15 and there would be no grandfathering.

hard to believe any line would make this kind of a change in the middle of a cruise,but I imagine it will make for some interesting discussions onboard.

btw,my very large online ta had not heard of this till I told them today.

It has been a known fact since the 15th of May here on CC, on the Ncl's site and to TA. The TA's got email ( at least some did and posted the fact ) and I even got an email a week ago...and I am just a customer currently book on a cruise...

What do you mean ? It was effective the 15th, you booked on the 26th for a future cruise. Maybe I am just misunderstanding your claim :o

I'm on cc every day and I still can't find any reference to this...maybe searched wrong.

"in the middle of the cruise" refers to the fact that some folks onboard will have a ubp and others will not have that option...couldn't they have just made it "cruises embarking after" a given date?
