jakartatom Posted June 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2014 What is the difference between Delux Veranda Oceanview Staterooms: V, VB, VC & VD ? We are booked in a VD but I am curious what the difference is between the others.
Rare POA1 Posted June 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Location mostly. Different deck or more forward or aft. There might be a bit of difference in cabin size, but it's generally about location. Edited June 4, 2014 by POA1
jtl513 Posted June 4, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Location mostly, but there can also be a difference in balcony depth, and that does not correlate strictly to cabin class. For example, a side VB on deck 6 will have a 6 foot deep balcony while a VB on deck 4 will have one 7.5 foot deep. What deck is your VD on? . jtl513 Posted June 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2014 It's all about location, location, location. But many that used to be considered prime locations a few months ago (VA on decks 7 & 8) are now called VE and VF, while the former deck 5 VE and VF are now V! Their "location, location, location" did not change, just what HAL charges for them.

Maybe we should have been saying, "Location, popularity, location." ;)
