Mom2B&Z Posted August 25, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 25, 2014 I have used a car seat in St Thomas, it took a little while but we found a taxi with a top tether and I did a seatbelt install with a Britax marathon. I had already arranged to store the seat at our destination, which was Coral World. We walked around St Maartin, but I also saw many taxis with top tethers that would be appropriate for a forward facing installation. In my experience, it has been harder to find 3 point seatbelts for use with a booster in the Caribbean than finding vehicles to install a ff car seat. I'm a retired crst, which is the Canadian car seat tech qualifications. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'd bring a seat with a built in lock off to make it easier. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Athankfulheart Posted August 26, 2014 #29 Share Posted August 26, 2014 We have used a sit n stroll for multiple trips/babies and loved it ! Plane, restaurant booster, vehicles etc.... loved it . For older ones we like the travel vest.
