Voyages of Discovery tendering policy?

We will have our first Voyages of Discovery B@B cruises this winter and wanted to find out about their tendering policy as we will have many such ports. How does VoD handle those passengers who have independent tours when tenders are involved?

 

From past experience I know that some cruise lines place all their own shore ex passengers first and independents are relegated to the end of the line. On other ships staff has been friendlier and they will work to put independent tour passengers on early if they request it.

 

Anyone out there with recent VoD experience who can fill us in?
