Remember in the UK holiday cancellation charges have been challenged in court and a holiday maker won their case against Thomson Cruises because they resold the cabin and flights so their losses were not reflected by the penalties.

We booked a few weeks ago in Australia for a cruise next year and had to pay AU$750 each deposit, which is around £400 each. :eek: I don't recall the cancellation conditions but they were pretty severe.
