Cable beach Free or any free beach at Nassau

We will be in Nassau in a couple of weeks and was looking to go to a free beach don't need the extra things like chairs and umbrellas will be there after 1:45 pm. We wanted to go yo cable beach but from what I've read there are hotel passes for purchase is there a way we can just take a taxi and just walk to cable beach? Or do we need to get a day pass from a holtel?

There are free beaches along Cable Beach, ask your driver to drop you off/ But there are NO amenities, no restrooms, food or drink, no lifeguards and generally, no other people. (this can be good and bad, since we DO have a lot of robberies these days.) These beaches are no maintained or raked, so they can have debris or garbage, depending.

 

If you want to use a hotel beach then you have to pay for a day pass, you can't just walk in and use their beach and facilities.
