Segway Tours

My wife and I are going to Bermuda in October. We completed an online excursion form with NCL. When we got our conformation back, the Segway excursion was not listed as being confirmed. I contacted NCL and the representative that I spoke with said that the Segway excursion at the present time is not being offered. She did not have an explanation. And suggested that I contact the excursion represenative once we board.

We were going to do the Segway excursion also (in September) but found it wasn't available (via Celebrity). I think the reason was lack of insurance, but am not 100 percent! It sounded like a fun thing to do - oh well.

Where in Bermuda were they planning to do tours by Segway? :confused:

NCL's online excursion information stated that there was one in Hamilon and one at King's Wharf.

Hamilton?? I'll believe that when I see it. Hamilton is such a busy city I couldn't see NCL getting permission to have a bunch of people touring around on Segways. It would be alright in Dockyard though.
