ANC transfer to Whittier

We are doing the Princess ANC airport transfer to Whittier. Once in Whittier does Princess load luggage onto the ship or do we have to schlep it?

We are doing the Princess ANC airport transfer to Whittier. Once in Whittier does Princess load luggage onto the ship or do we have to schlep it?

 

We just did this transfer a couple of weeks ago. You hand your luggage to Princess at the airport and it is put into a luggage truck. The luggage truck waits for all the transfers to leave so your luggage may arrive at the ship latter than you. You don't see your luggage until it is put in your cabin. Any carry on that you have is put under the bus in the luggage compartment.
