Salacia Posted June 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) We did a TA in 2010 but my memory fails me as to whether there was a blow dryer in the bathroom of our stateroom. Should I pack one? I've always found a blow dryer in the top drawer in the cabinet below the TV on QM2 (Britannia and Britannia Club Category). Short cord, low power. Works well enough, but not stylist quality. (Not that it matters, five seconds on the deck and any hair do is kaput unless encased in lacquer:eek:.) DarCrav Posted June 12, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted June 12, 2014 So true! And yes, now that you mention it I DO remember a hair blower in that drawer in the cabinet below the TV. Thanks for jogging my memory!
bananavan Posted June 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) Just came off 28 days and the blow dryer is dreadful. ( I was in Grills so they are not upgraded there) If you like to style just one side of your head, it is perfect. The cord is pathetically short and the on/off button must be pressed at all times in order to keep it going. If you have a travel dryer and you prefer seeing both sides of your hair looking good, take it. Edited June 14, 2014 by bananavan
Rocky123 Posted June 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I alway bring my own hair dryer along with a 9ft. extension. You can plug the extension in your cabin outlet and dry your hair in the bathroom. This way you really don't bother any cabin mates that are still sleeping. This works for me!!!!:)
landre1020 Posted June 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Yes, I bring my own dryer, as well. I just don't want to run the risk of having a "bad" hair dryer to deal with... Sent from my iPad using Forums
maggiemou Posted June 15, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I take own as I find the ones on the ship are o ok for a quick waff around but no good for styling your hair.
