Carnival luggage restrictions...

If my bag is 27.5 x 19.5 x 10 (which is bigger than they say to bring) what so u think will happen? I don't think a smaller one will work for me! Let me know how strict they are! Thanks!

It will be fine, just watch the weight. They are not super strict in my experience either.

I brought a bag that was 31x19.5x13 and had no problem at all. Your carry on has to fit thru the scanner, but your checked luggage can be bigger.

If it's OK for the airlines in weight and size it is OK for Carnival.

Carnival definitely isn't strict on luggage sizes like the airlines are. But if you're bringing on a carry-on it has to be small enough to fit through the scanner at security

We drive to the port so I pack everything. I checked 8 bags on my last cruise. 2 of which were the enormous suitcase size.
