Taxi from BWI to the port...

:o We have never flown into Baltimore nor have we cruised from there. We're being risk takers this trip and flying in the day we leave (4 July). We should (emphasis on the should, I know!!!) get to BWI around 1030. Does anyone know approximately how much a taxi would cost to get to the port from the airport and approximately how much time it will take? Thanks in advance.

It's a meter rate from Bwi to port, I wold say around $30.

But from cruise port to BWI it's a flat rate of $30.

You are about a 20 minute drive from airport to port.

It is only 20 minutes with NO traffic but don't think it's that way at rush hour which can begin as early as 2 pm on the BW Parkway. It might be weird on the 4th, which could mean more or less traffic- also depends on of the Orioles have a game?

 

Point is I suggest you leave BWI as quickly as possible once you get the luggage and be on your way. Better to be early to the port and not deal with traffic.
