voyagerfl Posted August 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2005 What are your Ports ?? Figure on some cooler weather.... If you are on Carnival.....I believe they only go as far as Halifax...which should not be to bad. It snowed in Qubec and Montreal on our New England / Canada Cruise in October. MrPete Posted August 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2005 But also pack something for some warm weather as well. We were pleasantly surprised twice, especially while sailing in the gulf stream. We were just as pleased in the day at both ports. It will be cool as you sail out of NY, once you start moving, until you get to the GS. A light sweater or jacket will do the trick. GeorgiaG Posted August 7, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2005 Regina, Are you on the Triumph October 1? If so we will be sailing with you. We cruised to Canada in the middle of September 2 years ago. It can be rather cool on deck. So slacks and sweaters may be needed. It was in the 70's the day we were in Halifax. And we were wearing shorts. Hope this helps.
