jnhsiburt Posted June 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2014 My family and I (4 adults and 1 child) are cruising in October. We are stopping at Port Canaveral for the day (7am - 5 pm) and would like to visit Downtown Disney after our reservations at the Polynesian for breakfast with Lolo and Stitch at 10:20. What is the best transportation taxi or rent a car? Sent from my KFTT using Forums mobile app
Orlando Vic Posted June 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) A car rental is your best bet...and much cheaper than a taxi. If all you're talking about visiting is Downtown Disney and breakfast at the Polynesian, that is certainly doable with the time you have. Capt_BJ Posted June 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) taxi will run over $100 each way ... it is 70 miles or so from port to WDW properties The drive is easy but there ARE tolls ... around $6 each way. Either pay the rental company fee for the electronic tolls or bring a couple of rolls of quarters (tolls CAN be paid cash) rental places near PC (location is usually Cape Canaveral) tolls Edited June 22, 2014 by Capt_BJ
