Review Bermuda on the Vision of the Seas

Recommended Posts

DH booked at the last minute and took a very small ocean view cabin.

The size of the cabin impacted our enjoyment -- that was our problem, if we'd booked early a larger cabin was possible.

The cabin steward introduced himself the first afternoon and asked if we needed this or that. He took good care of us throughout the 10 day cruise.

We received one toiletry kit with three soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body gel.

I had my own in the suitcase.

Entertainment was all over the ship. We had a large number of very well behaved children of all ages. The youngest sat like royals with their parents. The teens collected in groups and were very respectful of older passengers in the space.

The Viking Lounge had comfortable seating and an unobstructed view of the main open pool and the big screen which had video clips and the World Cup.

The bar was open in Viking.

DH isn't a fan of sushi. We passed on trying Izumi.

We visited Giovanni one time and found it not to our taste.

It was a port intensive cruise so we passed on Chops.

The buffet and dining room fare was not to write home about.

Service in the buffet was exceptional.

The shows and entertainment in the Centrum were very good.

We covered much of Bermuda on foot, by bus, or ferry as time allowed while in port the first full day and half of the next. It is a beautiful place and worthy of another visit.

Charleston is a town we visit often by auto. We had a few items to purchase and spent time in Charleston Place.

Nassau did disappoint. Next time, we will have a tour booked for pickup on the pier and return to our ship.

We did not go ashore at Coco Cay.

The promenade was a good place to sit quietly, reflect on all things, and read.

Loungers were usually open around the pools.

We found the relaxation room a good place to relax before a massage.

The Spa area was well equipped.

The ship is beautiful and very clean.

We look for an upgrade in the dining. The Celebrity ships are calling us to visit. We are always satisfied on Princess. The Vision was a good cruise. We need to explore more options and read more posts about upgrading.

Happy cruising no matter where you go, no matter which ship, and no matter which cabin.

I hope this helps. I have never posted a review. Cruise critic is relatively new to us.

What cabin were you in?

The ov cabin was on a lower level floor and had just more than 150sq ft. no mini bar.

We learned higher floor mid ship ov had more than 190 sq ft. and a mini bar.

Note: We booked last minute and were happy to board no matter which cabin.
