About a month until our cruise. Has anyone given any thought as to what they are planning on doing in any of the ports?

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

We plan to snorkel in Curacao.

Nothing particular in Aruba. There's not much to do there really.

Staying in town in St Martin. It's one of my favorite places in the Caribbean and I love the area around the port.

No specific plans for St. Thomas. It's a good place to buy liquor as there is no duty and the prices have always been lower than anywhere else.

Your plans?

As of right now are plans are:

Aruba - go to the beach somewhere - last time we were in Aruba, we went to the beach right behind the Amsterdam Manor, but they know longer have day passes for cruisers.

St. Martin's - Currently thinking about going to the beach with the Maho beach. Last time we were in St. Martin's, we went to the beach in town within walking distance of port. It was a nice beach and is still a possibility.

St. Thomas - We love Magens Bay and again are going there.

Curacao - We are currently thinking about getting a day pass at the Santa Barbara Beach Resort.

Sounds like you guys know your way around. We've been to St. Thomas before (not much to do there IMHO) and St. Maarten (we, too enjoyed the port and had drinks/lunch at a hotel on the beach in town.) But this will be our 1st time in Aruba and Curacao. Rocky is now seriously physically handicapped, so I'm wondering what might be doable ashore for someone in a wheelchair.

Just reserved a wheelchair through SN@S. We used them for the Boston-Bermuda cruise last year & everything went very smoothly. The floating wheelchair sounds interesting, but I think Rocky will stick to the terra firma.

Hi guys:

Glad to have met you both, but sorry we did not get to spend more time together. Let's keep in touch. Who knows, maybe our paths will cross on another cruise. Have a great summer. In the meantime, I'll be posting my "review" of the cruise on Critic soon.

Take care and all the best.
