BYO Water,Juice, Soda?

Are you allowed to bring them onboard without sneaking them on and if so is there limits? I cant find anything on ncl's site so I'm assuming we can.

Last NCL cruise I took- we took a case of water. Put a luggage tag on it and gave to the porter with the rest of our luggage. Very easy!

We sailed out of New Orleans last year and had to carry on our soda. They won't let you put a luggage tag on it and send it on with your luggage.

 

Will we be able to put a luggage tag on it in Houston? It wasn't that bad in NOLA, we just put it in a small rolling case and took it aboard but I'd just as soon not have to mess with it if I don't have to.

Is it ok to bring water,soda, and/or juice?

 

You are allowed to bring your own sodas, juices and water. You can check them or carry them on board. The products must be sealed or risk confiscation by the security. Make sure you tag them with your room tags so that they are delivered to your stateroom along with your luggage.

In some ports, they will not check in your soda/water cases with your bags but you can still carry them onboard with you.

Does anyone know if Miami is a port, you can check a case of water in ?

 

I will be leaving out of MIA in Nov 2015 on the Escape and I was thinking about bringing a case of water aboard.

 

I have only cruised on DCL and when I travel with them. I usually order a case before hand and it is delivered to my stateroom. It is pricey, but convenient since DCL does not allow cases of water to be checked in.

 

I have never been on NCL and I am curious as to how this will work.

Tampa and New Orleans are the two NCL ports that won't allow checking of drinks as baggage. It's not an NCL issue, but the port workers.
