Are the beds on Arcadia comfortable? I have heard the mattresses are firm.

We were on Arcadia three years ago so the beds may have changed since then but we found they very comfortable.

and we found them very comfortable. They have a little card in the cabin that states they are above, in case one wants to purchase same on your return home.

We had two months on Arcadia earlier this year,beds were fine,very comfortable

Further to the English ladies reply when we returned from our 2012 cruise on Azura we purchased a full bed of the same type as used on the ship, a Sealy Posturepedic it is the most comfortable bed I have slept in as I have lower back pain after a motorcycle accident some years ago. When delivered from Sealey the bed had a P&O cruise label on it. But what I find comfortable may not suit you.
