Cabana rental....Beach...with 2 year old...

Hello-we are coming in on NCL. I am looking for a beach where we can rent a cabana for the day or a suggestion for a great beach lots of shaded areas etc. We have a 2 year old....thoughts please?

There are NO beaches in Belize with cabanas. With one exception, all the beaches available to cruisers are on small islands called cayes. In order to get to a beach you need to take a ship excursion to that caye or you can search and find a private vendor offering a beach break type excursion. But again none of these places have cabanas, any coverage will be small palapas, thatched roof structures. The one exception is a 15 minute taxi ride to Old Belize's Cucumber beach. This is in a man made lagoon and is use d primarily by locals. You can google it for information.
