RenoNanaOz Posted July 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2014 We are booking a last minute cruise on the Conquest out of Miami 8/24.It's much more reasonable to fly to Ft Lauderdale from Vegas. Any recommendations on transportation from FT Lauderdale to our Miami Hotel? We will be staying a few days prior to cruising.
WestCoastCruiser123 Posted July 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Hi neighbor. I'm in vegas too. Try SAS. I used them from POM to FLL last fall. There's also a Florida departure board that might have more suggestions.

RenoNanaOz Posted July 10, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Hey neighbor, thanks. We've only cruised out of Long Beach or Galveston so out of our comfort zone.

We have found SAS to be extremely reliable and professional, so QLS would have to be absolutely fantastic! Try ridesas.com - I have never tried to go a Miami hotel with them (only from FLL hotel to the port of Miami) so can't answer that part.

JohninDC Posted July 10, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 10, 2014 QLS, SAS, MJS, Go Airport and a few others often suggested on these boards will all make the 40-45 minute trip to downtown Miami/POM. If your flight is arriving into FLL late in the day you will find fewer willing to go (unlikely they can fill the van) and higher prices than the standard $15 per person. A taxi from FLL to downtown Miami will run about $80+ on the meter. Where is your Miami hotel? Taxi from downtown Miami hotels to POM will run you about $12-13+tip. Many find that comparable hotels in the FLL area are cheaper and the area is nicer; you might consider staying in the FLL area and then using one of the service to shuttle straight to POM the morning of your cruise. aarep Posted July 10, 2014 #13 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Our family of 4 used Quality Limo Service from the Hyatt Pier 66 Hotel to port of Miami. Service was excellent and cost was $15 per person. I would highly recommend.
