Millennium 01 Aug Venice to Barcelona

A couple of questions. How do we get to ship from hotel in Venice and does anybody know which nights are the formal nights on our cruise. Only two days at sea (I'm the kinda gal that would LOVE back to back Atlantic crossings - sea days are the best) which sounds hectic. Forget all the ruins (I can see that in bed beside me)...... I'm for laying in the sun and enjoying the ship rather than the ports.
