Long Beach?

Am I searching correctly or is my app acting up? Is Carnival no longer leaving out of Long Beach? My search only comes up with boarding from LA and disembarking in Long Beach?

 

If this is true what happens if you drive to the port? do they transport you back to your car?

No it is still long beach but it will say la. I'm leaving on the Miracle in October.

Carnival is still leaving out of Long Beach. We are sailing on the Miracle in November.

Carnival owns the Long Beach facility, so unlikely that they would use LA/San Pedro. Funny how you can almost see one from the other.

That's why I thought it was weird.. However, on 1 of my cruises we left from Long Beach and they disembarked from San Pedro. It was when the Spendor had a problem and had to have that port. They used bus's to get us back to Long Beach. It was our first cruise of our b2b cruises and the second cruise didn't leave to about 10pm.. People were not happy

When the Miracle arrived, there was another ship in port so they had to go to San Pedro.

On the booking engine it says Los Angeles.

Haven't heard of any Carnival ships using San Pedro for several years.

It's long beach. They're pretty much one in the same.

Probably not.

 

For whatever reason - that's how the bookings read for the Miracle. I had the same question when we booked. But we departed from and return to Long Beach! 😊

For Carnival LB is LA. It says LA but means LB.

We were on the Spirit several years ago when she DID sail out of San Pedro for a Thanksgiving cruise. Wish I remembered how it was written on our docs:( IIRC she then dead headed over to the Long Beach dock for the next cruise.
