LOVECRUISING100% Posted July 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Am I searching correctly or is my app acting up? Is Carnival no longer leaving out of Long Beach? My search only comes up with boarding from LA and disembarking in Long Beach? If this is true what happens if you drive to the port? do they transport you back to your car? PBCruise Posted July 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Carnival owns the Long Beach facility, so unlikely that they would use LA/San Pedro. Funny how you can almost see one from the other.
LOVECRUISING100% Posted July 13, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted July 13, 2014 That's why I thought it was weird.. However, on 1 of my cruises we left from Long Beach and they disembarked from San Pedro. It was when the Spendor had a problem and had to have that port. They used bus's to get us back to Long Beach. It was our first cruise of our b2b cruises and the second cruise didn't leave to about 10pm.. People were not happy
ccruisequeen Posted July 13, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 13, 2014 When the Miracle arrived, there was another ship in port so they had to go to San Pedro.
SadieN Posted July 13, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) On the booking engine it says Los Angeles. Haven't heard of any Carnival ships using San Pedro for several years. Edited July 13, 2014 by SadieN

happy cruzin Posted July 13, 2014 #12 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Thinking about this some more.... Which ship and cruise date? It might be a one off cruise. Probably not. For whatever reason - that's how the bookings read for the Miracle. I had the same question when we booked. But we departed from and return to Long Beach! 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
PhoenixDawgCruising Posted July 13, 2014 #13 Share Posted July 13, 2014 For Carnival LB is LA. It says LA but means LB. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
PhoenixDawgCruising Posted July 13, 2014 #14 Share Posted July 13, 2014 LB is the tip of LA County so technically it is LA. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

But we departed from and return to Long Beach! Sent from my iPhone using Forums We were on the Spirit several years ago when she DID sail out of San Pedro for a Thanksgiving cruise. Wish I remembered how it was written on our docs:( IIRC she then dead headed over to the Long Beach dock for the next cruise.
