Exploration Tower at Canaveral

Has anyone visited the new Exploration Tour at Port Canaveral? My husband and I will be on Grandeur of the Seas in October with our 15 year old son and I thought this might be a fun place to visit. Is it walkable from where we will be docked? Thanks so much for your help

distance wize you are looking at about 1.3 miles so distance is not bad but you must walk thru an industrial area ....

 

in this screen capture from Google Earth the east end of the line is where G usually parks in PC on Sundays, and the west end is the 'tower' ... in 'tween is industrial ....

 

 

you ARE very close to Jetty Park tho - with SUP, kayak and surf board rentals, as well as chairs and umbrellas . . . due east from the ship (at the {old} south terminal)

 

from Jetty Park you COULD walk south 30 miles b4 another inlet gets in your way.....

Thanks for the info. If the weather's good, we will definitely go to Jetty Park. I thought the Exploration Tower might be good if it rained. I guess we would need to take a cab in that event.
