tuxedo rental

Has anyone rented their tux from Cunard while onboard? I worry that I will be taking a chance by not renting in advance but it would be great not to have to pack it. Are they that well stocked? I am doing the transatlantic in September.

Hello JAnn4, if you do a search of this board you will find a ton of prior discussions and information on this topic. The verdict tends to lean to buying your own as a better value.

I rented one on the July 11 crossing as mine did not make the suitcase. My wife and I do not yet agree as to who dropped the ball on this one. In any event, they are very well stocked. They took my measurements and had me out the door with a tux in about 7 minutes. It would be cheaper to purchase one ahead of time however. Just remember to pack it.
