Rare greygypsy Posted April 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2004 We are considering a Navigator cruise for early next year and have some questions on Cat F cabins. Is 603 much larger than the other Cat F's? It shows as an adjoining room to a a suite in the front that is a Cat E, and looks considerably larger on the deck layout. If you have stayed in it is there much noise from the adjoining cabin? Do 605,607and 609 have larger balconies, or is that just appearance on the deck plan? Are 617 abd 627 actually larger, or do they just have different layouts since they are listed as 3 guest capacity? Do any of the Cat F cabins have obstructed views? Any help would be appreciated as we will probably book something by Monday. Thanks, susan and/or jeff
Captiva Posted April 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2004 We were in 603 on the March 13 sailing and our Friends were in 605. 603 was much more roomier and wider than 605--BUT 605 does have a LITTLE larger balcony. We heard no noise from adjoining suites--did hear the anchor drop but not too annoying for us. Were very pleased with location of these suites. Dolebludger Posted April 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2004 IMO, all the odd numbered suites on deck 6 of the Navigator are fine. But avoid the even numbered suites on that deck. They have neither a balcony or a window that looks out over the water. Instead, their windows look out over a 15' wide deck used by the crew to get to the bow. Not a very good view!
